Ride-hailing service Lyft will offer free rides to those attending the March for Our Lives rallies this weekend .
The company said it has teamed up with march organizers in 50 US cities to offer the service. It said it's committing as much as $1.5 million for the rides.
Earlier this month, Lyft Co-Founders John Zimmer and Logan Green shared their support for the civic engagement these students have inspired by offering free Lyft rides to marches around the country.
I am impressed, It is important to me to support a company that gives back to the community and I think it is incredible that these two gentlemen have stepped forward to support such a worth-wild cause.

Here are some important reminders to get your ride-
-For the code to work, you must enter the official March for Our Lives rallypoint as your destination. You’ll find rallypoint details in your app once you enter your code in the ‘promos’ tab.
-Codes will be good for rides up to $15.
-Anyone riding who is under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
They are only able to support free rides up to $1.5 million, so it’s important to RSVP ahead of time to get a code before that commitment is met.
