Free Lyft Rides For March For Our Lives Attendees

Ride-hailing service Lyft will offer free rides to those attending the March for Our Lives rallies this weekend .
The company said it has teamed up with march organizers in 50 US cities to offer the service. It said it's committing as much as $1.5 million for the rides.
Earlier this month, Lyft Co-Founders John Zimmer and Logan Green shared their support for the civic engagement these students have inspired by offering free Lyft rides to marches around the country.
I am impressed, It is important to me to support a company that gives back to the community and I think it is incredible that these two gentlemen have stepped forward to support such a worth-wild cause.
So, if you are heading out tomorrow to the March you can go here to learn more about how to get the service and get the PROMO CODE for your city.
Here are some important reminders to get your ride-
-For the code to work, you must enter the official March for Our Lives rallypoint as your destination. You’ll find rallypoint details in your app once you enter your code in the ‘promos’ tab.
-Codes will be good for rides up to $15.
-Anyone riding who is under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
They are only able to support free rides up to $1.5 million, so it’s important to RSVP ahead of time to get a code before that commitment is met.
For more information you can go to this Lyft page to get your ride scheduled. If you are in Metro Detroit the promo code is MFOLDET
If you are in Detroit and need information about the rally. Go here to learn more details and the outline of the march.
We support these young people and they take a stand to stop the gun violence in our schools.
