Stainless steel appliances look great in the kitchen, but dirt streaks and fingerprints can collect pretty easily. Luckily, there are a few household products that can not only combat daily dirt it can also keep them looking brand new! Check out these 4 household products that will keep your stainless steel sparkling:
- Water: Seems too simply right? Well water is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to cleaning stainless steel! Use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe down your appliances. It will keep the surfaces streak free and looking great.
- Vinegar: Vinegar has many uses around the house and as an added bonus works great for cleaning steel items. Spray a small amount of vinegar on a microfiber cloth and wipe down. Avoid spraying directly onto the appliance as it will leave blotchy marks from the direct spray.
- Olive Oil: Olive oil isn’t just for cooking anymore! Use a few drops of olive oil (or baby oil) and a microfiber cloth on your appliances. Rub in a circular motion to buff your surfaces and it will look brand new before you know it.
- Baking Soda: A mixture of baking soda and water can be a great way to clean and shine your stainless steel. Mix a few teaspoons of water and baking soda and rub over surface. Use water to rinse off the paste and you should see wonderful results!
